database design faq's

The following is a list of questions we are frequently asked regarding our database design services.

Q: What database platforms do you support?

A: We are able to create database designs in any of the following: Microsoft Access, Microsoft SQL, MySQL in addition our database designs can be linked to any ODBC datasource.

Q: We already have a business database system but would like to modify it can you help?

A: We are able to modify any existing system built using one of the standard platforms we support. In addition providing the system is ODBC compliant we are able to design database systems that run alongside your existing business database system.

Q: Can you design network based database systems?

A: Most of our database designs are network based. In addition we are able to support wide area network (WA N) or LAN based database designs. User interfaces can be designed using a front end Microsoft Access Database or a XHTML based web browser interface.

Q: What ongoing support are you able to provide?

A: Our ongoing support is tailored to suit our customers and ranges from support on a "pay as needed" basis to a regular maintenance contract for continued support. We believe in providing our customers with the freedom to choose which method they are most comfortable with.
